Well here’s a pretty neat idea. It looks like two artists, Brad Blucher and Kyle Clements, got together to create quite the series of artwork. At first glance you’d probably be a little frustrated by the lack of art. However, when you bust out that digital camera or camera phone to share your upsetting experience you’d find you were up in arms for nothing.

Using infrared LEDs strategically placed behind the canvas, they have created some pretty simple, but really fun works of art. The sensor in camera can see infrared light while our eyes obviously cannot. So, rather than walking around with a beverage in our hand chatting it up about great the paintings are, we would instead be walking around holding up our digital camera snapping photos of infrared LEDs hidden behind a blank canvas. If you want to get a quick idea of how this works, hold the TV remote up to your cellphone camera so the IR blaster is in sight. You'll notice on your phone's screen that it lights up but to the naked nothing is going on. Sounds pretty cool doesn't it?

The “Take A Picture” series is basically just a few simple designs like smiley faces, but it is a very unique idea and quite cool if I may say so myself.
