Ponies becoming girls. Girls becoming freaked out.

See what happens when Twilight Sparkle goes through an odd transformation in this clip from the first feature-length "MLP" film "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls."

All right, so I'm a-gonna need to knock over a bank or something, because Toys R Us and Entertainment Earth have partnered to bring to San Diego Comic-Con even more cool exclusives on the already-overflowing list.  And not only are there great pieces from such lines as "Transformers," "Walking Dead" and "Adventure Time," but fans who can't make it to the show will be able to purchase these at on Thursday, July 18!

As if the wait for San Diego Comic-Con wasn't hard enough, Mimoco just announced these extremely adorable SDCC exclusive MIMOBOTS! Now you'll never have to leave home without your trusty "My Little Pony" "Fan Favorite" (DERPY!) and "Star Wars" Chewbacca flash drives again!

Superfans and scalpers, start your engines -- Hasbro has enough cool exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con to drain your bank account several times over!

As reported in USA Today, Hasbro has a slew of exclusives planned for this year's SDCC (July 18-21), that fans are going to be making a beeline for once the show opens...and which most of them will not actually be able to get and wind up paying hugely inflated prices for on eBay in the ensuing weeks.

We might be speaking from personal experience.

But here's the best of the best.  Prepare to drool. Read More...

Badass Digest's Devin Faraci tweeted a link to a letter sent to a Deviant artist named Kevinsano who partakes in the creation and "appreciation" of erotic "My Little Pony" art. The letter, sent from a redacted name, begs the artist to please rethink receiving erotic art of "Pony" character Twilight Sparkle, because, as you'll see below, the writer of said letter is planning to wed the fictional, four-legged creature.

Yes, wed. As in marry. As in get hitched. To a cartoon.

This sounds like one of the most epic convention fails of all time -- but who expected it would come out of "My Little Pony" fandom?

According to The Daily Dot, last month's LasPegasus Unicon in Las Vegas was "botched" -- saddled (if you would excuse the pun) with claims of fraud, theft, bounced checks, "fake money," and attendees being kicked out of hotels. If this is all true, it sounds like the Bernie Madoff of fan conventions. Take two of the most rabid fan bases in all the world, the "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" legion of “Bronies” and the international "Doctor Who" devotees known as “Whovians,” mix ‘em together and what have you got? “Doctor Whooves.”

This is a thing that is happening.

Deviant Artist Han Jan (aka shepherd0821) mashed "My Little Pony" with "Mobile Suit Gundam" and came up with something that finally answers the question: What would Derpy Hooves look like as Gundam? The answer: she'd totally just wear a cardboard box.

Check out more of Han Jan's work - plus, a bonus Pony mash-up image - after the jump!

"Do you think you're safe, Twilight Sparkle?"

You didn't know you wanted it, but you did, and now you have it. Praise be to Internet for this "My Little Pony"/"Star Trek Into Darkness" mash-up.

These mash-ups don't always work, but when they do, they're like this.

MTV Geek Comic-Con LIVE welcomed Tara Strong and the rest of the cast for "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" to SDCC this weekend. Our guest-host Ashley Eckstein ("Clone Wars" actress and founder of Her Universe) chatted with the "My Little Pony" gang about the strong cult following for the show, the "Brony" phenomenon, and even how to break into voice acting. Said Strong about the Bronies: "We have a great fanbase, we have the best fanbase of any show ever!"
